Jumping out of an airplane is an awesome, sometimes life changing experience, but there are safety risks involved. That is exactly why you should skydive with FULL TIME PROFESSIONAL SKYDIVING OPERATIONS ONLY! In the southeast there are a handful of small, part time drop zones that operate on weekends only and are run by people who are, by profession, carpenters to computer programmers. While they may be highly proficient at performing their full time job, they do not have the experience, nor the expertise of our 7 day per week, professional, full service, safe skydiving operation.

ASC / Alabama Skydiving Center uses only state of the art skydiving equipment.
Due to the high level of experience of our instructors, and our use of the best equipment available, we can accommodate persons weighing as much as 285 LBS. The handful of small part time operators in the south east U.S. will impose strict weight limits and will not take persons weighing over 239lbs. Although you may not weigh this much, this should be a concern as it is an indication of lack of experience and or the modern equipment necessary to handle larger individuals, which puts you closer to the limit of their experience or equipment. Don't push the limit; skydive with the FULL TIME PROFESSIONALS! You're worth it!

REASON #3 We offer the highest skydive you can make out of the LARGEST and safest AIRCRAFT. These large commercial jumpships allow you to skydive AT THE SAME TIME as your friends.
At Alabama Skydiving Center your skydive is made from 14,000 feet ! The HIGHEST SKYDIVE available, out of the safest aircraft serving Alabama! Why settle for less? Alabama Skydiving Center uses TWIN ENGINE TURBINE aircraft that climb fast. This means you can jump with your friends at the same time! This is a sharp contrast to the weekend operator who rents a $25,000 to $150,000 small, personal type plane that can only take only 2 tandem jumpers at a time if you really pack together, sit on the floor, and hold on. Then they charge you more for far less service! Fortunately, there are PROFESSIONAL skydiving aircraft and a staff large enough to accommodate whatever size group you wish, available to you at Alabama Skydiving Center.

ASC / Alabama Skydiving Center offers video AND stunning STILL PHOTOS of your skydive.
At ASC you can have 35 mm. photos taken of your skydive experience. We have a staff of 15 video professionals available to provide you with the highest quality video and still photo's available. Members of our video production staff have done work for NBC / CBS / MTV / ESPN / ESPN2 / 20th Century Fox and the Discovery channel and have the level of skill necessary to provide you with a broadcast quality production of you skydive. Your video and still photos are guaranteed. Small, part time drop zone's may not have even one photographer who is capable of providing you with still photos of your first skydive, and therefore will not mention the availability of still pictures in the hope that you will not know the difference. There is a difference! Go with the pros!
